From the same location, the famous Argyle mine in WA, originate Chocolate Diamonds. These come in different hues from very light golden cognac to dark sumptuous chocolate.
Each stone is individually accessed and cut by one of 70 master cutters to bring out the colour and fire within the stone. Cutting and polishing takes much longer than in white diamonds, also due to the hardness of these diamonds (diamonds do vary in hardness depending on location) they cannot be cleaved or laser cut. Well cut stones shine forth with depth of colour and a spectacular inner golden fire.
