When we talk colours we shouldn’t forget NZ’s own stunning PAUA Blue Pearls.
Here is a Halo ring amidst these beautiful naturally coloured pearls.
Pāua, the Maori name for abalone, are commonly found in shallow coastal waters along rocky shorelines and feed on seaweed. The pāua is iconic in New Zealand: its black muscular foot is considered a delicacy, and the striking iridescence colours of these rare pearls are very sought after.
We have embraced these superb pearls, considered to be NZ’s own gem, from the very beginning. What a joy to work with or even wear such exquisite colour.
Uplifting any day!
