What do you mean when saying that your rings are made of "solid" gold? We do not hollow-out bands, use laminates (gold fill) or plating. Our jewellery is made through and through of gold in the stated karat. Solid gold. What does the 'k' mean? Karat. European, American & Canadian spelling & abbreviation of carat, a measure of the purity of gold alloys; 24 karat being pure gold. Most common alloys are 18k, 14k and in NZ 9k. 18k is the hardest wearing of these alloys. In some rings we use 22k gold for its beautiful dark yellow colour. Natural gold we buy from local miners is 23k pure and we use it in its original natural form in some of our rings. And 'ct'? Abbreviation of carat when used to show diamond and gemstone weight. A carat = .2 grams. What is your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee? Orbit Jewellery stands behind every product they sell, that’s why we have been in business for over 20 years!
